Life involves lots of things: academic decisions, home decisions, financial decisions and health decisions. In our pursuit to live this life well and whole it is extremely beneficial to add “testing for your age” to the equation.
Deep breath. This doesn’t have to be tedious. It’s all based on perception. I embrace my “aging well” concept and in doing so I am accountable for what it requires to age well. It’s not just about the foods we eat and the exercise we engage in. Knowing what’s happening internally is just as important if not more. Sickness and/or dis-ease is not always visual. There are athletes that are unhealthy; suffering from oxidative stress, heart disease and may not even know it. So rest assured that everybody needs to be taking tests. Below is the general list of tests to consider per decade of life. As always have these talks with your medical team and get their professional advice. TRY HARD to live proactively. Everything is not symptom-based. Take care of that temple ok? And she/he will take care of you. And God will do what you cannot do.
Disclaimer: This is not an exhaustive list if you already have pre-existing conditions.
